This blog is all about the Jio Spark interview experience and questions 2023 and we have discussed all rounds and the real interview question that has been asked to the candidate.

Jio Spark Interview Experience

 

# CANDIDATE 1

Round 1 (Online Test)

  • It consists of 2 Sections of overall time duration: 1 hrs 45 mins
    • Aptitude and English:
      •  Profit loss, %, time and speed
      •  Basic English questions were there
      •  Difficulty Level – Moderate
    •  Programming Questions:
      •  Total no of questions – 2 Difficulty Level – Moderate

Round 2 (Technical Interview):

  • There were two technical rounds but based on performance in round 1, 80 students got selected for the final technical round.
  • I was one of them. To clear this round one must have good command over core subjects and skills that he/she mentioned during the interview.

Some questions were:

  1. Introduce yourself.
  2. What is DBMS?
  3. What is CORS?
  4. How can we achieve responsiveness?
  5. What is Node.js, and Express.js?
  6. What are joins? Types of joins?
  7. ACID Properties
  8. RDBMS vs DBMS
  9. SQL vs MYSQL
  10. NOSql vs SQL Database
  11. What are method overloading and method overriding?
  12. Difference between them?
  13. What are SDLC, steps?
  14. (Suggestion: Read SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methods in detail) What are Software testing, debugging, types of software testing?

Some Questions were on Web Development:

  1. In how many ways can we put images on any webpage?
  2. In how many ways can we use CSS on a webpage?
  3. Which tag is used to change lines in HTML?
  4. What is the responsiveness of the website?
  5. What do you mean by object-oriented?

Project Related Questions 

  • She was also asked about my project for which I was asked to share my screen to demonstrate it. Some cross-questions were there. (Suggestion: Be confident and represent each part of it.)

Round 3 (HR Interview):

This interview was conducted by the Vice President of Reliance JIO and was the final round and I was asked the following questions:

  1. Introduce yourself
  2. Tell us about your family.
  3. Why do you want to join JIO?
  4. The final piece of advice:

It was very nice experience and I got selected 🙂

 

 


# CANDIDATE 2 


Jio Spark Interview Experience

  • For the first time Reliance Jio came to our campus for GET profile. The entire process was of 6 days which consist of 1 aptitude(on the Amcat platform), 1 technical round, and 1 HR round.

Round 1 (Aptitude):

  • If you know the basics of maths, English, and CS fundamentals then you can easily clear this round. This round consisted of 39 questions to be solved in 49 minutes. Out of 75 eligible students, 22 get shortlisted for the technical round.

Round 2 (Technical):

  • This round was very important for getting selection. There were two interviewers in my technical round.
  • It started with my introduction (including a little project discussion) then they asked me about the concept of oops and the implementation of polymorphism concepts.
  • Then I was asked a coding question (check if a number is a perfect square or not) I told them the brute force approach, they asked to optimize, I gave another two approach of root(n) and log(n) time complexity. then there was a little bit of discussion about time complexity.

Now they came to the theoretical part where they asked :

  1. What is a database?
  2. What we can achieve using DBMS?
  3. What is the primary key?
  4. What are a deadlock and its handling methods?
  5. What is concurrency?
  6. What is the circular wait?
  7. Do you know java? 
  8. what is an interface in java.
  9. Do you know the SQL and no SQL databases?
  10. What is SQL and what are the operations we do in SQL?
  11. Do you know how to update a column in SQL? write the basic syntax?
  12. What is a drop database?
  13. Explain delete and truncate.

In the end, they asked if I have any questions for them. I asked a question then it ended.

After this round, 7 students got shortlisted for the HR round.

Round 3 ( HR Round):

  1. Tell me about yourself, your hobbies, and your family background.
  2. Which domain do you want to pursue in your career?
  3. What is your biggest strength?
  4. Then 2-3 more questions related to my projects.

Suggestions for Jio Spark Interview Experience

If you are having any doubts or you aren’t able to understand the question feel free to ask again from the interviewer. Make Core Subjects strong and I was blessed and I got selected.
